Thrust into a totally unfamiliar environment, Nuri must learn to believe in herself and see her worth, even as the people around her struggle to accept her, and the mysterious man who saved her life seems to hate her. Can she learn to make friends and fight, or will she be pushed out, doomed to fit in neither Divine nor Normal worlds?

Eden Sandoval is an Indigenous & Latine indie author who was born in Chile and grew up in Chicago. After subjecting themself to a law degree, they left the legal field to pursue their true love: telling stories and creating worlds. Now, they craft narratives with complex protagonists navigating messy worlds, weaving in themes of growth through and beyond trauma, liberation & equity, and neurodivergence & disability. When not writing, they enjoy photography, archery, attending fandom conventions, making cosplays, and staring at the lake. Eden lives in Chicago with their spouse and rescue pup.
